Dance FX Dress Code
Pre-Dance
- Leotard (purchase through the studio)
- Pink tights
- Pink ballet shoes / black tap shoes (for combo classes)
- Hair must be pulled back and away from the dancers face preferably in a bun
- NO BAGGY ATTIRE
Ballet Levels 1-5
- Leotard (purchase through the studio)
- Pink tights
- Pink ballet shoes
- Hair in a bun
- No ballet skirts or booty shorty
- NO BAGGY ATTIRE
Boys Pre-Dance & Ballet Levels 1-5
- Ballet shirt (purchase through the studio)
- Black shorts above the knee or black tights
- Black ballet shoes
- NO BAGGY ATTIRE
Jazz
- Leotard, sports bra, tank tops, or any other form-fitting tops
- Leggings / fitted dance shorts
- Laceless black jazz shoes
- Hair must be pulled back and away from the dancer's face
- NO BAGGY ATTIRE
Lyrical & Contemporary
- Leotard, sports bra, tank tops, or any other form-fitting tops
- Leggings / fitted dance shorts
- Lyrical shoes
- Hair must be pulled back and away from the dancer's face
- NO BAGGY ATTIRE
Turns & Leaps
- Leotard, sports bra, tank tops, or any other form-fitting tops
- Leggings / fitted dance shorts
- Lyrical shoes or jazz shoes
- Hair must be pulled back and away from the dancer's face
- NO BAGGY ATTIRE
Tap
- Leotard, sports bra, tank tops, or any other form-fitting tops
- Leggings / fitted dance shorts
- Black tap shoes
- Hair must be pulled back and away from the dancer's face
- NO BAGGY ATTIRE
Hip Hop
- Comfortable clothing that allows the dancer to move freely
- Baggy pants are ok. No jeans or booty shorts
- Any type of tennis shoe is fine (Preferably white soles)
- Hair must be pulled back and away from the dancer's face
Acro & Strength
- Leotard, sports bra, tank tops, or any other form-fitting tops
- Leggings / fitted dance shorts
- Hair must be pulled back and away from the dancer's face
